Base price for all 1040 filings is $1,000 per year. A monthly service contract is not required.

Most 1040 return packages for returning clients run a total of $1,000-$7,500 annually including all local and state filings. Clients with Schedule C or Schedule E income generally have invoices over $1,500 annually. Once an annual rate is set, it generally remains consistent for several years for long-term clients adjusted for inflation occasionally.

Extension calculations, a large number of source documents, turning in documents over several months in multiple file formats, QuickBooks or accounting file review and adjustments, a large amount of texting/email correspondence, frequent phone calls and consultations all generally increase the price of a standard annual invoice.

$1,000-$2,500 deposit starts most projects. Our firm invoices monthly or at the end of the project.
